<title>Gemini2 on "Smartguy5000 MineCraft Server"</title>

<description>&#60;p&#62;This thread will be stickied and will be the main reference and questions/issues thread for Smartguy5000's MC server.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The main MineCraft thread will be for general discussion only. This thread is not for general discussion only discussion relating to Smartguy5000's server.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The server is located here:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;a href=&#34;http://minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=91f8daad663e32cc5d0ddeeefbb37545&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=91f8daad663e32cc5d0ddeeefbb37545&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If you do not have an account, you must register in order to play on his server. You can register with the client at this address:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;a href=&#34;http://www.worldofminecraft.com/&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://www.worldofminecraft.com/&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;When you first begin you will be in an area called &#34;main&#34;. You will not be allowed to transport back and forth between other areas until you reach builder status. You will reach builder status when an OP promotes you after he or she feels you will do good rather than bad.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;First thing you should always do when entering the server. READ THE RULES!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You can access rules by pressing T to talk and inputting this command: /rules&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;These are the rules. Read them and follow them or you will be kicked or banned from the server.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;blockquote&#62;&#60;p&#62;- Griefing and Asking for promotion = IPban&#60;br /&#62;
All bans are final unless contested by the banned party, you can contest your ban by sending an email to &#60;a href=&#34;mailto:Smartguy5000@gmail.com&#34;&#62;Smartguy5000@gmail.com&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;- Do not mess with the floor in Main, the glass celing or the glass surrounding the tree. This glass is for OP's and Super OP's only please.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;- Have fun, and ask our admins if you need anything, they'll be glad to help.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;/blockquote&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Note: Griefing is like spamming here. Too much deleting and building can cause the server to lag, this is called Griefing. It will not be tolerated at all.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Now for some Q&#38;#38;A&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Q: Who owns the server?&#60;br /&#62;
A: Smartguy5000&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Q: The server is unresponsive, what do I do&#60;br /&#62;
A: Either post here or see if Smartguy has made a response regarding any problem with the server.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Q: What if another user is being mean to me?&#60;br /&#62;
A: Then you tell an OP, such as myself or Smartguy. We will handle it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;As I said before, this thread is for Smartguy to give updates regarding his server, for all of you to discuss topics related to his server and to post questions and problems you are having.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Any other unnecessary spam will be deleted on sight.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Copied from Smartguy5000's original post here:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The server's official name on the list is Kanesmorgue.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The list of OPs and Admins is as follows&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;blockquote&#62;&#60;p&#62;Admins:&#60;br /&#62;
Myself&#60;br /&#62;
Raxas&#60;br /&#62;
Serrus&#60;br /&#62;
vlk&#60;br /&#62;
Secel&#60;br /&#62;
Mono99099&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Operators:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Submachiner - Gemini&#60;br /&#62;
Death Road&#60;br /&#62;
Moulin Rouge&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;/blockquote&#62;
&#60;p&#62;As well once you are elevated to builder status, or above; you will have the option of going to levels, the level called pastel is for the forum to have a place to freebuild that doesn't get deleted. As well, the level called pastelland is for the recreation of the Pastel Land Adventure Map Thread ONLY! Serrus is in charge of that.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;blockquote&#62;&#60;p&#62;World Entitlement:&#60;br /&#62;
Advanced Builder - 1 World&#60;br /&#62;
Operator - 2 Worlds&#60;br /&#62;
Admin - 3 Worlds&#60;br /&#62;
All others are at my discretion solely.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;/blockquote&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Other than that, have fun and enjoy yourselves!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;HOW TO GET THE CLIENT:&#60;br /&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;It's just so interesting to see thread go completely off topic so many times. It intrigues me. But what if a thread had no topic? Where would the conversation go?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So if you have something that is completely random, go ahead and put it here.

<description>&#60;p&#62;In my spare time, I like to do a variety of things. Read, play video games... normal stuff. On the other hand, I do have an artistic side to me. I do write novels, write poetry and also draw. I'm an amateur artist... I used to do stick figures but now I've gone a few notches up. A couple characters in these drawings are actually derived from dreams that I have logged. Sometimes, on rare occasion will I remember someone or something from my dream and draw them.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thought I'd share these with you all, and yes Mur, you're not the only artistic person here with a twisted sense of artistic quality &#38;lt;insert dmt characters here&#38;gt;&#60;/p&#62;

<title>The Undaunted Zephyr on "The SUB.M.A.C.H.I.NE. (practical theory)"</title>

<description>&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;Official Almanac:&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
The &#60;em&#62;Subspace Mechanized Artificially Cognizant Harmonizing Interactive Network&#60;/em&#62; (SUB.M.A.C.H.I.NE.) is an indefinite, coterminous, extra-dimensional network of &#60;em&#62;Regulatory Omnipresent Organizational Mechanisms&#60;/em&#62; (R.O.O.M.s) that both define and support the reality in which we proport our existance.  The SUBMACHINE was first discovered by man millennia ago by a culture which eventually de-evovled into the myriad ancient North and Central American societies known to exist in antiquity (such as the Mayan and Aztecs).  However, evidence of equivalent discoveries were found at ancient Egyptian, Chinese and Mesopotamian sites.  Historically, the discovery of the SUBMACHINE has led to a consequential delinition of the fabric of the society which made the discovery.  Although some have argued that its discovery by NAZI scientists during World War II did not lead to such a break-down in the German national structure, it is worthy to note that the discovery was not made widely public until the year 2010 and the timely destruction of Hitler's Third Reich and the subsequent social upheaval by the actions of the Soviet Union do not allow enough time for a proper assessment of this theory to be made.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The NAZIs attempts to create ROOMs within the SUBMACHINE culminated with the development of the &#60;em&#62;Rudimentary Omniscient Observation Tessellation&#60;/em&#62; (R.O.O.T.).  The ROOT, first discovered in December of 2005, is thought by many to be the first of man's attempts to control the SUBMACHINE from the inside.  Although the NAZIs attempts to manipulate the SUBMACHINE inevitably failed, evidence of other attempts (such as the “Lighthouse” and the “Basement”) have recently been discovered.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Although many believe the SUBMACHINE to be an infinite nexus of data, recent studies conducted by the Murtaugh Unearthing Retinue (M.U.R.)  suggest that the SUBMACHINE is actually an indefinite, active mechanism.  The mechanism, whose structure is not fully understood, has no known, definable parameters.  The mechanism itself is powered by a central &#60;em&#62;Continuity Ossifying REactor&#60;/em&#62; (C.O.RE.) of a possibly alchemistic design and unknown composition.  Wisdom gems, found throughout the SUBMACHINE, have been used by explorers to manipulate the structure of the mechanism itself, with varied, and sometimes disastrous, results.  Wisdom gems generate a substantial amount of energy inside the SUBMACHINE, but their exact composition is as enigmatic as the CORE.  Many of the inhabitants of the SUBMACHINE have wandered in from afar and become lost within the many interconnected ROOMs.  It is not known how these hapless travelers entered the SUBMACHINE, nor if any non-human entities roam about in the same manner.  There are no known indigenous inhabitants of the SUBMACHINE.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Unfortunately, all future research has been halted until further notice since all contact with MUR has been lost and all subsequent investigators have been similarly irretrievable.&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;strong&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
Actual Current Events:&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
You have been sent inside the SUBMACHINE to determine the fate of the MUR and retrieve all data pertaining to their studies. You are not the first one to do so. However, due to an (supposedly) unfortunate mishap during entry, you were accidentally transported to an unscheduled ROOM in the “Basement” of the SUBMACHINE. Murtaugh, who was leading the MUR, left clues behind in various ROOMS of the SUBMACHINE. Initially, it appeared as though he was helping you escape, or at least helping you to find him. However, by Submachine 6: The Edge, you learned, much to your dismay, that Murtaugh was only interested in having you disable the CORE defense systems. It is not yet known what Murtaugh hopes to accomplish, or why he needed your help in the first place, but, as usual, you are left with more questions than answers...

<description>&#60;p&#62;My idea here is a place for long, rambly posts where a user simply posts their thoughts. I'm not sure it's a great idea altogether, and it seems more than a little bit like other threads (e.g. rant thread) but with different connotations (i.e. not angry like a rant), and as such I wouldn't mind in the least if a moderator were to destroy it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;[MEDITATION BEGINS HERE]&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Although now that I think about it, I would mind a little if it were destroyed, but most certainly I wouldn't be blaming the moderator. If it's a bad idea it deserves to be destroyed. I'd only be a bit dissapointed because I'd have to realize that my idea, one which I had the gumption to follow through with, was actually not good at all. Which reminds me of how fluid the concept of good and bad ideas is. That looks like improper grammar, but in fact it is entirely correct, because &#34;of good and bad ideas&#34; is a prepositional phrase and as such &#34;is&#34; is the word following concept (as in, &#34;how fluid the concept is&#34;). Trust me, I know grammar. I've never had the slightest difficulty in English, and I use proper grammar even in situations where it is entirely unnecessary, just by force of habit.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;But then again, I've never had a hint of trouble in any school. Not externally, anyway. Internally there's a peculiar struggle going on between my love of writing and inherent mathematical ability. I'd like to become a writer, but I'm also aware that math skills are valuable ones which would go to waste in a writing career. Peculiarly, I also don't much like English class and really prefer math, but that's simply because classes explore the wrong facets of literature for me. I don't want to learn about symbolism and figurative language; I just want to learn about how to write better... although I suppose if I wanted to be really remembered as a writer, I'd have to do all that symbolism-and-figurative-language crap. I mean, did Faulkner ever write anything fun and easy to read? Probably not in his adult life. I mean, I'm sure he did in school, perhaps when he was about my age... which could mean I'd grow into use of more complicated literary techniques.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;But of literary techniques, there's not much I like more than the old Scooby-Doo type &#34;the minor character that we told you about but you have long forgotten turns out to be the criminal!&#34; situation. Take my &#34;crazy story,&#34; for example. I'm trying to put Merc into an important position here, even though literally nobody even noticed when I introduced him (so far as I'm aware; nobody used him for anything). And who is Deadalus really? He's been mentioned in the story before, I swear it on my own grave. But will you remember who it was? Certainly not.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I think I've meditated enough. I enjoyed this.

Ancients have threads to talk in, not visible for Newbies, but Newbie threads are visible for everyone.

<description>&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;ON TOPIC DISCUSSION&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The purpose of this thread is to be able to alert the mods about specific issues without having to post in a random thread hoping that one of the mods will see it. For example, this thread is likely to be used to alert the mods if one was wrongly spammed etc. I dont think this needs to be a sticky but if the mods decide to stick it it's up to them, it's all the same to me.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Currently I wish to know why the Off Topic thread was renamed to ATTN and would like to request for it to be changed back.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Also: please delete the random tags.
