This. Shakespeare had a lot of themes and characters in his plays that are still interesting relative to the modern era. Have you ever read Othello? Iago is the ultimate beast and one of my literary heroes.

Okay, the basis of Shakespeare is okay, but the way it's written and the words used are way to ancient to make it even good writing.

Fact: They used two men in the original plays of Romeo & Juliet. Back in those times, women were not allowed to perform in plays.
