I found a new room, the shrine, which can be found by entering a door.

I found it now. Here's one suggestion though:

Contrary to what someone suggested for Where is 2011, please do not create a Submachine-themed game for such. Doing so will allow me to look at the sequence as:

    Submachine 1 (October 2005)
    Submachine 2 (June 2006)
    Submachine 3 (August 2006)
    Submachine 4 (April 2007)
    Submachine 5 (January 2008)
    Submachine 6 (October 2009)
    Submachine 7 (sometime in 2010)
    Where is 2011 (December 2010)
    Submachine 8 (2011)

And in that sequence, Submachine 8 is actually the ninth game and is thus a misnomer. Anything I'm assuming that is wrong??

Sub8 will be the tenth game if you count Sub0 and SubFLF. But there are currently six for the main storyline.

Thank you very much for putting a dent in my hunger for DM3. This is the nicest surprise I got this Christmas. Happy New Year!

Thanks to Mateusz for the mini-game. Very nice!

Can anyone confirm how many pebbles there are? In the comments someone stated that they found 30, and another that they had found "all 44." The most me and many others have found is 27. Are there really more?

I loved the game Mur, like I imagine you would already know. The DMT feel added so much to it.
Not bad, I only got 26 coins, so I'll have to go back and get the other one, but still a great game.

    as for Gemini:

I also like the DMT type feel to it. Perhaps for 2011 a Submachine feel?

No, I don't think a short game like this could have a Submachine feel and it'd probably ruin the entire feel of the series.

    Very nice!

    I found 26.

Was this game made from leftover DMT3 screens?

Best way to end off the old year, and head on to the new!

    True.
