I have never greatly been betrayed - only in a minor manner. This has not affected me at all.
However, I am a great betrayer.

for me, once. Or twice.
not that big of deal, but it helped me to be wary of people close to me.

wow...well i hav recently been betrayed by 1 of my so called best friends...he minipulated me, and told me that if i ddnt do sumthing 4 him, he'll never be my friend, he'll delete me from his life. I panicked, i ddnt know y he was acting like this, but i ddnt wana lose him as my friend, so i did this thing 4 him...wen i told him that the friendship isn't working 4 me, that i cnt always b the 1 2 say sorry wen i dnt do sumthing wrong, he showed the whole world wat i did, he betrayed my body....now every1 thats in his school will luk at me and think: "she's easy"
I deleted those ppl from my life....but i never knew at the moment wen i did that 4 him that it culd get so bad....
i was stupid....but....ya...

That kind of behavior is definitely not acceptable. People are not to be treated that way, let alone best friends.The things your 'best friend' did will someday come back and kick him in the ass. People will realize he was and is a jerk.

DarkRose, this might seem pretty cynical but I think you should never completely trust anyone. Even if it's a family member or your best friend, people have their own self-interests in mind and that won't change. It's okay to have a general trust in someone close to you, but if you trust them over your own judgment you'll end up being screwed over at least a few times.

darkrose, ur saying everyone from this guys school is gonna think ur easy cause of wat u did, thing is u r easy if u were talked into it like that, theres a balance between whether something is worth keeping and whether the cost of keeping it outways its worth(some one else willl hopefully phrase this better). u gotta learn that balance well, and only u r gonna know wat something is worth to you, but you have also got to look at who else is involved in that something, in this case ur friendship, and you have to take them into account when u make your decission. you cant just keep a friendship because its one you have had for a while when its between you and some complete prick, specially when the price for the friendship is so high. and you cant say he was worth keeping as a friend when he is forcing you to do somethng u dont want to do just to stay friends, look what he did in the end. there is nothing you can do about the past except learn from it for the future, so just try and do that, even if at some times you have to use cold logic over morality and your feelings. the world is harsh and if u rnt carefull it will eat you alive.

As far as I can remember, I've never been betrayed. Which makes me very trusting of my friends.
