Would you like to see a ranking system be put into place? Death Road has a good idea of how to do so in this thread: http://www.pastelforum.com/topic.php?id=936

Read through the pages to see his ideas, other users ideas or come up with your own

    And don't forget to vote!

But really, shouldn't we have custom titles as well?

    1,500-3,000: Experienced Pastelian
    3,000-5,000: Veteran Pastelian
    5,000-7,500: Elite Pastelian

You get the idea, it doesn't HAVE to be like that. But it's just something I'd thought would add a touch of class to the ranking idea.

    I like the term 'Pastelian'
    Sounds nice.

Or we could use the names of actual pastel colors.

we used to until the new forum was missing this feature.

I don't really care, though it would be nice addition.

    100-500: Beginner Pastelian
    500-1,500: Normal Pastelian

    3,000-5,000: Veteran Pastelian
    5,000-7,500: Elite Pastelian

    hmmmm...

    0-100: New Pastelian
    100-500: Beginner Pastelian
    500-2,000: Regular Pastelian
    2,000-5,000: Novice Pastelian
    5,000-7,500: Expert Pastelian
    7,500-10,000: Veteran Pastelian
    +10,000: Elite Pastelian

this might be a better ranking because lot of users here posts very often, so Elite status should be reserved for those who post the most

We don't need to determine the rank limits right now.

First of all, your numbers don't make any sense, if we're counting (p/to)*months
(posts divided by time spent online multiplied by months being a member)
For example, my number is (2253/330)*16=109.236
    Alex's number is 6535/948*11=75

We need to do some counting and redo the scale.

Before we can set the limits for ranks, we need to decide how we are going to count the number that
determines your rank. I have some suggestions, maybe we can make a poll?

Instead of creating a new poll, we can just have Mur edit this one. I'll post the results when he edits this one to what we want.

So what are your suggestions for counting the ranks and poll choice questions/suggestions?
